Career

I have received an appointment order from Tamil Nadu State Government on the 1st day of April 2013. I have accepted the appointment order and started my teaching career in Government Polytechnic College, Theni where I have joined as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering from the 4th day of April 2013. In that institution, I have been instructed to work in the following roles for the welfare of the students.

  • Head of the Department (i/c)
  • Examination Cell
  • Purchase Committee
  • Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad
  • Discipline Committee
  • Principal (i/c) (During official absence of the Principal of the institution)
  • Public related Activities
  • AICTE, Sports, Placement related works on few occasions

Due to my personnel reasons, I applied for institution transfer and received a transfer order to Government Polytechnic College, Uthangarai on the 11th day of June 2015. I got relieved from Government Polytechnic College, Theni on the 15th day of June 2015 and joined Government Polytechnic College, Uthangarai on the 16th day of June 2015 as a Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department. In that institution, I have been instructed to work in the following roles for the welfare of the students.

On the 3rd of August 2021, I have received a transfer order on my willingness to work in the Directorate of Technical Education(DOTE), Chennai. Hence I got relieved from Government Polytechnic College Uthangarai on 05.08.2021 and I started working in DOTE as a Tabulation Assistant – II in the N-Section from 06.08.2021. In this office, I have been instructed to work in the following roles for the welfare of the students.

  • Confidential works related to Diploma Examinations
  • Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA)
  • Other fields related to upliftment of Technical Education.

Educational Qualifications

  • I have completed my School Education during the academic year 2005-2006 in Amutha Matric Hr. Sec. School, Mugappair West, Chennai-600037.
  • I have been awarded an Undergraduate Degree (B.E) in Civil Engineering during the academic year 2009-2010 by Anna University Chennai affiliated Tamil Nadu state governed institution Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Bagayam, Vellore-02
  • I acquired Postgraduate Degree (M.Tech.) in Geotechnical Engineering during the academic year 2011-2012 from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Sardar Patel Road, Guindy, Chennai – 600025.

Educational Policies

  • ​The students who are passed in 10th/12th Board Exams, are getting admission in Diploma courses​. If the students are regular in attending their classes, it is the duty of the teacher to make him a Diploma qualified student.
  • The teachers, we are not just teaching and imparting technical knowledge to the students, but we are designing and framing the future for those students.
  • Merely getting technical knowledge will not support the students to succeed whatever they face in their career, it is essential for a teacher to teach problem solving methods, stress management, leadership quality, managerial skills etc…
